Art
Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth receive art once a week. Students learn different art techniques and styles as well as work on a variety of creations! These wonderful creations are displayed throughout the hallways of our school, so students can showcase their hard work!
Technology
Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth receive technology once a week. Students learn many different computer skills during this time and build upon these skills throughout the years. Students learn typing, coding, research, and much more!
Library
Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth receive library once a week. Students in younger grades hear a story each week. All students have the opportunity to check out a book from our library each week to take home. Library is a great place for students to discover a variety of books that help spark the joy of reading!
Spanish
Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth receive Spanish once a week. Students in younger grades learn how to count in Spanish as well as learn the names of different colors and objects in Spanish. As the students continue through the grades, they expand their vocabulary of the Spanish language and work on speaking sentences in Spanish. Students in all grades also learn about the Spanish culture and different holidays/traditions that are commonly celebrated. It is wonderful for students to be able to learn Spanish starting at such a young age, as it lays the foundation for the language and can truly help students work towards fluency by learning more about the language each year.
Music
Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth receive music twice a week. Students learn about a variety of musical instruments and musical genres. All students have the opportunity to perform in at least one concert each year to showcase all their hard work!
Physical Education
Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth receive physical education once a week. Students practice a variety of sports as well as working on physical fitness and promoting healthy living.
