My name is Stephanie Weaver and am the proud principal here at St. Mary/McCormick Catholic Academy. I have over ten years of experience in the field of education. St. Mary/McCormick Catholic Academy and St. Mary Parish have been a big part of my adult life! I celebrated my Baptism, Confirmation, First Eucharist, and was married at St. Mary Parish. After having received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a job opportunity opened up at St. Mary/McCormick Catholic Academy in 2015 and I was hired as the First Grade teacher. I fell in love with the school and all the wonderful staff, students, and families! In 2022, I became the principal and have loved planning all our fun school events, assemblies, and expanding our list of extracurricular activities. The thing I love most about being at St. Mary/McCormick Catholic Academy is the family environment! Our families are wonderful and our school feels like a second family. The staff are amazing and have the students’ best interests at heart. The partnership between staff and families help nurture a love of learning and a love for Jesus!
